Welcome! 欢迎!

Students, welcome to the CHN 3021 blog! Here I will post Chinese langauge learning and cultural resources that hopefully will be both interesting and useful to you. If you have any Chinese-related announcements or recommendations, I will be glad to post here as well so that you could share great resources with your classmates.

Here is my first recommendation for CHN 3021 students: Xiaoi the online chat robot. Xiaoi (Little I, namely, Little "I, Robot") is a cute and intelligent robot whom you can chat with through Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger or just web.
Xiaoi knows the Chinese language pretty well, and also know some basic English. Conversations with the super smart Xiaoi are always full of fun. For students of Chinese, the chat robot is a particularly handy tool for language practice.

Xiaoi also provides many a useful service, such as weather forcast and map search. Users can also invite friends to play games online through the Xiaoi robot. http://www.xiaoi.com/
